We are looking for a **Qualified Electrical Technician (mandatory)** **Responsibilities:** * Perform switching, replacement, and load transfer operations on electrical networks and substations * Operate circuit breakers, disconnect switches, and reclosers on overhead lines and distribution systems * Strictly apply Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures and the Five Golden Rules of Electricity, ensuring work zones are de-energized * Carry out network reconfigurations to isolate sections under maintenance, minimizing service interruptions * Conduct insulation resistance tests (Megger testing) on cables, equipment, and transformers * Perform thermographic inspections to detect hot spots in electrical connections at an early stage * Carry out basic transformer maintenance: sampling dielectric oil, cleaning insulators, and checking fluid levels * Inspect and measure grounding systems, evaluating soil resistivity and proper functioning of protective devices * Perform splicing and termination work on medium-voltage power cables * Install and assemble protection, metering, and riser cells, transformers, and electrical panels * Participate in the installation of overhead and underground electrical networks, supervising or performing work on poles and duct banks **Requirements:** * Technical training in Electricity, Electrotechnology, or related fields * Proven experience in electrical distribution networks (LV/MV) * Knowledge of electrical safety standards and operational procedures * Ability to work in the field, following safety protocols and as part of a team * Certification as a qualified or licensed electrical technician is desirable **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 05:36 pm; Saturdays 08:00 am – 01:00 pm **Benefits:** * Full payroll registration from the first day of employment, including all legally mandated benefits * Payment method: end of month * Base salary: S/.1,900 – S/.2,500, depending on evaluation and experience. **Requirements** * Minimum education: Technical Education * 3 years of experience * Age: between 26 and 40 years Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,900.00 – S/.2,500.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
