Your sole responsibility is to convert field information into clean BIM models that feed Galu’s AI agents for cost estimation. You work with real-world technology, in production, every day. **About Galu Service:** A Peruvian industrial construction and maintenance company with 10+ years in the market. Active clients: AC Farma, METSO Peru, Quimtia, Constructora Chan Chan, and Fopesa. We are developing Galu Ops, our proprietary operational automation platform powered by AI agents (Claude Anthropic + Next.js). The BIM Modeler is the role that provides real-world geometry to that intelligence. **Your Responsibilities:** * Build 3D BIM models from client-provided photos, sketches, and drawings * Extract structured quantities from the model (walls, slabs, installations, equipment) * Determine which items require full modeling versus direct quantity takeoff * Upload geometry and quantities to Galu Ops as input for AI agents * Review consistency of scope generated by AI agents (ensuring no items are missing and quantities are not inflated) * Maintain the team’s BIM family library and templates * Guide Field Technicians on what information to capture during site visits **Essential Requirements:** * Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Technician degree * 2–3 years of verifiable BIM modeling experience on real projects * Intermediate-to-advanced Revit proficiency (modeling, families, quantity extraction) * AutoCAD — fluent reading and editing of 2D drawings * Intermediate Excel skills for handling exported quantity data * Ability to interpret hand-drawn sketches and on-site photographs **Bonus Qualifications (not disqualifying if absent):** * Navisworks for model coordination * Experience in industrial projects (pharmaceutical, mining, manufacturing) * Dynamo or Revit scripting to automate repetitive tasks * Basic knowledge of APUs — to understand the team’s terminology * Genuine curiosity about AI applied to engineering **Selection Process:** * CV + portfolio (links or screenshots of modeled projects — no portfolio, no evaluation) * 30-minute virtual interview with Management * Paid technical test (2–3 hours): photos + sketch + drawing → model a bounded area for quantity extraction * In-person interview with the team * Formal offer within 4 days of the technical test Salary: S/.3,000.00 – S/.3,500.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
