Ability to work independently and as part of a team Industrias Electroquímicas S.A. is seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Technician to join our industrial plant maintenance team. We are looking for candidates who have graduated or hold a diploma in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or Production Mechanical Technology. If you have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in industrial plant maintenance—including rolling mill equipment, eccentric presses, overhead cranes, machine assembly and alignment—you are the candidate we are seeking. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of industrial plant equipment maintenance and repair, as well as machine assembly and alignment. The candidate must be able to interpret technical drawings and implement corrective actions based on them. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are also required. Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial plant equipment. * Efficiently and accurately assemble and align machines. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. * Assemble and disassemble parts, machines, and equipment. * Comply with established safety standards.
