Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Offer: Refractory Technician Industrias Electroquímicas S.A. is seeking a highly qualified Refractory Technician to join our industrial plant maintenance team. We are looking for candidates who have graduated or hold a degree in Mechanical Technician, Production Mechanics Technician, or related fields. If you have a minimum of two (02) years of experience in industrial plant maintenance, expertise in handling refractory materials in metal smelting furnaces, basic blueprint reading skills, proficiency with hand and power tools, and familiarity with measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, tape measure, bubble level, pyrometer, and others), you are the candidate we are seeking. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of industrial plant equipment maintenance and repair, as well as machine assembly and alignment. The candidate must be capable of interpreting technical drawings and implementing corrective actions based on them. Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, are also expected. Responsibilities: * Fabricate refractory materials for furnaces and casting equipment. * Replace and maintain refractory materials in furnaces and casting equipment. * Replace crucibles in Morgan furnaces. * Support Hunter casting startup operations. * Perform other duties assigned.
