Job Summary: We are seeking a sewing operator to assemble garments, operate industrial machinery, perform sewing techniques, conduct quality control, and maintain productivity. Key Highlights: 1. Sewing and Garment Construction Operations** * **Garment Assembly:** Join fabric pieces following technical and design specifications. * **Machinery Operation:** Operate industrial sewing machines (flatbed, overlock, collar attachment) for joining, reinforcing, or decorating. * **Sewing Techniques:** Perform straight seams, curved seams, hems, attaching zippers, buttons, and pockets. **2\. Production and Quality** * **Quality Control:** Inspect garments to identify seam defects, broken threads, or fabric flaws. * **Meeting Targets:** Maintain productivity and adhere to timelines set by the supervisor. **3\. Preparation and Maintenance** * **Machinery Setup:** Thread the machine, install bobbins, and adjust thread tension. * **Material Selection:** Choose appropriate needles, threads, and stitch types for each fabric. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Clean and lubricate the sewing machine, reporting malfunctions to the mechanic.
