Our client, a company specialized in the design, supply, and integrated engineering for the implementation of all types of warehouses and storage systems, is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to fill the position of **Cost and Budget Engineer** in Surco. **Job Objectives:** * Prepare and control engineering and construction project budgets. * Analyze direct and indirect costs to ensure profitability and competitiveness. * Provide technical support during tendering processes and project execution. * Update cost and unit price databases to optimize future estimates. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed budgets for projects at tendering and execution stages. * Analyze cost variations and propose corrective actions. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning departments to obtain accurate information. * Prepare cost control and financial progress reports. * Evaluate supplier and contractor proposals from a technical/economic perspective. * Maintain up-to-date unit price and historical cost databases. * Participate in project monitoring and control meetings. **Requirements:** * Minimum of **5 years** of experience. * Proficiency in cost and budget analysis for engineering projects. * Familiarity with specialized software (Advanced Excel, ERP, Presto, S10 or others). * Knowledge of construction regulations and cost control practices. * Key competencies: Analytical thinking and attention to detail, Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, Effective communication and teamwork, Negotiation skills and decision-making ability. **Benefits:** * Formal employment contract under the general labor regime, including all statutory benefits. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4 days onsite + 1 remote day. * Health insurance (EPS) coverage at 70%. * Opportunity to participate in high-impact logistics projects.
