Description

Position Summary: Responsible for supervising, recording, and diagnosing maintenance and repairs of the company's vehicle fleet and heavy machinery, coordinating with workshops and administration to ensure optimal departmental operation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and recordkeeping of vehicle and heavy machinery maintenance. 2. Diagnosis and scheduling of major and minor repairs. 3. Coordination of spare parts and workshop consumables procurement. REQUIREMENTS * Automotive Mechanics course or technical diploma preferred * 1 year of experience in similar positions RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Supervise and record maintenance of the company's vehicle fleet and heavy machinery units. 2\. Diagnose, record, or schedule major and minor repairs for the company's vehicle fleet units. 3\. Supervise and approve work performed by external workshops. 4\. Coordinate with administration the procurement of spare parts and consumables required for normal operation of the mechanical workshop department. 5\. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. 6\. Keep tools and equipment in good working condition. 7\. Report completed and pending tasks to the immediate supervisor, maintaining a log of these activities to ensure effective maintenance control of the units. 8\. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. 9\. Comply with all applicable safety regulations and policies in accordance with safety procedures.
