We are currently looking for the best talent for the position of **KITCHEN ASSISTANT** for one of our partners in the district of **SAN BARTOLO**, to support organization and BPM standards within the kitchen. **Responsibilities:** * Actively participate in trainings, meetings, and institutional activities called by the company. * Comply with quality standards and procedures of the Quality Management System implemented by the hotel. * Perform daily mise en place prior to service (cutting vegetables, meats, fruits, etc.). * Assist in preparing breakfasts, lunches, dinners, or à la carte dishes. * Wash, peel, chop, portion, and organize ingredients according to the chef’s instructions. * Assist in preparing juices, sauces, salads, and side dishes. * Prepare basic foods following recipes and under supervision. * Restock ingredients on the production line during service. * Keep the kitchen clean and organized during and after shifts. * Wash utensils, tableware, cutting boards, small equipment, and work surfaces. * Assist in deep cleaning kitchen machinery and equipment. * Verify that the area complies with BPM and hygiene standards. * Receive and store ingredients in their designated locations. * Label products using the FIFO method (first in, first out). * Report missing, expired, or damaged products. * Control basic portion sizes to prevent waste. * Deliver food to internal areas (dining room, hotel restaurant) as required. * Assist in plating simple dishes or supporting the chef. * Collaborate in events, buffet breakfasts, or special occasions. * Assist in setting up and dismantling food stations. **Experience:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions * Completed secondary education * Effective and empathetic communication * Commitment to service and customer care * Verbal fluency **Benefits:** * Positive work environment * Meals provided * Timely payments Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,300.00 – S/.1,500.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
