




Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and assembly of fishing nets, ensuring service quality, proper use of materials, and tracking of obsolete materials. Post-repair audit of nets **FISHING NET WORKSHOP CONTROL TECHNICIAN** **Job Mission or Purpose** To monitor progress of vessel net maintenance and assembly services according to the repair schedule, ensuring service quality, correct quantity of materials used, and control of obsolete materials generated from repairs. **Main Responsibilities** * Monitor materials entering the net for repairs, verifying quality against technical specifications and quantity per the proposed plan, applying the net assembly procedure. * Monitor materials exiting the repair process and conduct the corresponding balance versus incoming materials. * Monitor the repair schedule and report progress and deviations to the Net Repair Coordinator. * Report observations identified during the net repair and assembly process. * Coordinate with net, material, and service suppliers to oversee repairs. * Supervise maintenance work in the net workshop. * Conduct an audit of the net upon completion of repair. **Job Requirements** * Completed technical education in a field related to fishing net technician. * ICMA fishing course (non-exclusive, but preferred). * Basic-level Office software knowledge. * Minimum 5 years’ certified experience in net repair. * Competencies: Effective communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement orientation. **Employment Conditions** * Remuneration: S/ 2,500 + 100% social benefits. * Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8 hours daily. * Meals provided.
