Coordination of multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders **Job Description** We are looking for a highly qualified **Transmission Project Manager** to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high- and medium-voltage electrical infrastructure projects (transmission lines and substations). The primary mission of this role is to ensure projects are delivered within the allocated budget, on schedule, and in accordance with the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. The ideal candidate will bring solid technical expertise in electrical engineering, advanced skills in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract management, and strategic capability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with diverse stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * **End-to-End Project Leadership:** Lead the full lifecycle of electrical transmission projects (transmission lines and substations), from detailed engineering through to commercial operation. * **Scope, Schedule, and Cost Control:** Monitor adherence to the master schedule and manage the capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget, proactively identifying deviations to implement corrective actions. * **Contractor and Supplier Management:** Coordinate and supervise the performance of contractors, subcontractors, and critical equipment suppliers, ensuring contractual compliance. * **Quality and Safety Assurance (SSOMA):** Ensure all project phases strictly comply with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a zero-accident culture. * **Risk Management:** Timely identification of technical, social, or financial risks that may impact the project, developing and implementing efficient mitigation plans. * **Executive Reporting:** Prepare progress reports, project financial statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for presentation to General Management and steering committees. **Candidate Requirements** * **Academic Qualifications:** A licensed and registered professional in **Electrical Engineering, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering**, or related disciplines. PMP certification or postgraduate studies in Project Management / Business Administration are highly desirable. * **Required Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing or leading electrical transmission infrastructure projects (high-voltage transmission lines and/or electrical substations). * **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in project management tools such as **MS Project or Primavera P6**. * Solid understanding of national electricity sector regulations, electrical codes, and energy market regulations. * Proven experience administering contracts under EPC or similar delivery models. * **Competency-Based Skills (Soft Skills):** * Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities. * Assertive leadership and ability to coordinate geographically dispersed teams. * Results-oriented mindset, analytical thinking, and decision-making under pressure.
