Quality-focused approach for a boutique brand **Textile Development and Procurement Analyst** **Position Objective** Provide support in textile product development and manage procurement of materials, ensuring timely supply and production tracking with suppliers, while guaranteeing quality standards and on-time delivery for a boutique-style brand. **Main Responsibilities** * Identify, evaluate, and propose **fabric, trim, and material suppliers** (primarily domestic). * Manage **procurement of materials**: fabrics, labels, zippers, buttons, etc. * Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and basic terms with suppliers. * Track purchase orders through to final delivery. * Coordinate sample development (prototypes and production samples). * Monitor workshops and suppliers to ensure adherence to schedules. * Support quality control of materials and finished products. * Verify that products comply with technical specifications and brand standards. * Maintain an updated supplier database. * Support production planning (key dates and priorities). **Requirements** **Education:** * Graduate in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Fashion Business Administration, or related fields **Experience:** * 2–4 years in textile production or product development within textile companies * Procurement of textile materials * Experience working with workshops or suppliers **Technical Knowledge** * Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of fabrics, materials, and garment manufacturing processes * Proficiency in handling technical specifications * Procurement and supplier relationship management * Basic quality control skills * Intermediate Excel proficiency **Highly Valued:** * Experience with boutique or low-volume (non-mass-market) brands * Familiarity with local suppliers (especially in Gamarra or other textile clusters) * Aesthetic judgment aligned with premium-perception brands **Key Competencies** * Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities * Proactivity (critical in small-team environments) * Sound judgment in balancing quality versus cost * Negotiation skills * Clear communication with workshops and internal teams * Attention to detail * Sense of urgency **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * On-time supply delivery compliance * Rate of material stockouts * Quality compliance for materials and production * Cost control vs. budget * Response time to supplier-related incidents **Ideal Profile** An organized, execution-oriented individual eager to learn, capable of operating both in-office and in the field (visiting suppliers/workshops), with a keen eye for detail and product sensitivity—essential for a boutique brand where quality and finishing make the difference.
