DESCRIPTION A leading company in the Industrial sector is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant for its operations in Lima. ### **Role of the Position:** Ensure the accurate preparation, analysis, and presentation of the company’s financial and accounting information, guaranteeing compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS) and tax regulations, as well as providing ongoing technical support to the General Accountant. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and their explanatory notes, ensuring quality and timeliness. * Determine and review monthly and annual taxes (IGV, Income Tax, among others), ensuring tax compliance. * Ensure compliance with accounting and tax obligations within established deadlines. * Manage internal and external audits and tax inspections, acting as the technical counterpart. * Update, implement, and improve accounting recording procedures and internal controls. * Maintain continuous coordination with the accounting team and internal departments such as payroll, finance, sales, logistics, production, and warehousing. * Supervise and provide technical support to accounting assistants/junior accountants under supervision. REQUIREMENTS ### **Academic Qualifications** * Certified Public Accountant. * Specialization in IFRS and/or taxation (desirable). ### **Experience** * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar positions within the accounting area. * Experience in preparing full financial statements. * Experience in tax determination and audit management. * Experience supervising accounting assistants/junior accountants. ### **Technical Knowledge** * IFRS accounting standards. * Current tax legislation. * Proficiency in accounting ERP systems. * Intermediate/advanced level MS Office.
