We are a **specialized ophthalmological healthcare clinic**, currently seeking a **Nursing Technician** for our location in **San Luis – Lima**. We seek a professional with experience in the healthcare sector, preferably with experience in **ophthalmology**, who can provide comprehensive support in **clinics, ophthalmological procedures, operating rooms, and sterilization areas**. REQUIREMENTS * **Diploma in Nursing Technology – mandatory.** * Minimum of **1 year of experience in the healthcare sector**. * Experience or knowledge in **ophthalmology**. * Knowledge of **visual acuity testing**. * Knowledge of **blood pressure and vital signs measurement and documentation**. * Knowledge of preparation and support for **ophthalmological examinations**. * Desirable experience in handling ophthalmological equipment and tests. * Knowledge of patient preparation and assistance for ophthalmological procedures. * Knowledge of **cleaning, disinfection, preparation, and sterilization of medical and surgical instruments**. * Desirable experience in **operating rooms, surgical centers, or outpatient procedures**. * Availability to work **Monday through Saturday**. * Ability to work collaboratively, organize effectively, demonstrate responsibility, and treat patients courteously. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES **SUPPORT IN OPHTHALMOLOGICAL CLINICS** * Perform **visual acuity testing** and record results. * Measure and record **blood pressure and vital signs**. * Prepare patients for ophthalmological evaluation. * Assist in conducting **ophthalmological examinations and tests**, as directed by the physician. * Prepare necessary equipment, materials, and instruments for patient care. * Assist the ophthalmologist during consultations and procedures. * Maintain the clinic clean, organized, and adequately stocked. **SUPPORT IN THE OPERATING ROOM** * Prepare the operating room and required materials for ophthalmological procedures. * Prepare and verify surgical instruments. * Provide support to the ophthalmologist during procedures and surgeries. * Prepare patients prior to procedures. * Strictly adhere to biosafety and patient safety protocols. **STERILIZATION** * Receive, sort, clean, and prepare medical and surgical instruments. * Correctly perform **disinfection and sterilization processes**. * Prepare and package instruments for sterilization. * Maintain the sterilization area organized and well-stocked. * Monitor and document processed materials. * Follow established protocols for handling sterile materials. CANDIDATE PROFILE A **proactive, responsible, organized, and service-oriented professional**, comfortable working with both patients and physicians, capable of performing effectively in **ophthalmological clinics, operating rooms, and sterilization areas**.
