




Job Summary: SGS seeks a professional to organize, schedule, and perform chemical and metallurgical sample testing, report results, and propose new laboratory methodologies. Key Highlights: 1. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Organize and schedule service requests, analysis priorities, and workload distribution. * Perform sample testing according to defined procedures and protocols. * Review, validate, and report interim and final chemical test results to the direct supervisor. * Prepare productivity reports and service delivery reports for internal clients as applicable. * Coordinate requisition and replenishment of orders based on departmental needs, in coordination with the direct supervisor. * Propose and/or implement new laboratory methodologies based on standards review or technical information, in coordination with the direct supervisor and/or relevant department. * Guide or mentor staff on applied testing methods. * Participate in quality and safety activities as required. * Perform other similar duties as assigned by the employer or hierarchical superior based on operational needs and requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Proficiency in analytical techniques: Inorganic, Metallurgical, Environmental. * Experience operating AAS, Leco, and/or similar equipment. * Knowledge of volumetric and instrumental techniques for mineral samples. * Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) preferred. * Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 standards. * Minimum 2 years as an analyst or performing similar activities; 3 years preferred. * Work location: Callao, with rotating shifts. **Additional Information** * Full payroll registration from day one. * Mandatory Life Insurance (Ley de Seguro de Vida). * Ongoing training opportunities. * Corporate benefit agreements
