Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Officer to supervise and improve workplace safety, conduct preventive inspections, and manage incidents in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead supervision and verification of safety protocols
2. Actively participate in incident and accident management
3. Contribute to a preventive culture through safety talks and campaigns
***REQUIREMENTS***
\* Minimum Bachelor's degree (Environmental/Industrial Engineering or related fields)
\* Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer (mandatory)
\* Experience supervising high-risk work (e.g., working at heights, hot work)
\* Specialization diploma in OSH Management (minimum 120 hours of training)
\* Training courses in supervision and leadership
\* Training courses in high-risk work (minimum 60 hours, with valid expiration date)
\* Training courses in Emergency Management (First Aid / Fire Control / Evacuation and Rescue / Hazardous Materials)
\* No police or criminal records
\* Availability to work at DpWorld Callao headquarters; schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM
\* Immediate availability
***RESPONSIBILITIES:***
\- Conduct field inspections, identify substandard conditions and acts, and verify proper application of IPERC, ATS, and other preventive management tools
\- Verify on-site that activities are conducted in accordance with procedures, safety controls, work permits, and established standards
\- Supervise appropriate use of PPE, tools, equipment, signage, housekeeping, and compliance with applicable internal and legal regulations
\- Conduct preventive inspections and observations
\- Execute scheduled and unscheduled inspections, record findings, establish corrective actions, and follow up until closure
\- Deliver safety talks, campaigns, and awareness activities aimed at strengthening the preventive culture
\- Participate in incident and accident management
\- Provide support in initial response, reporting, investigation, and analysis of incidents and accidents, proposing corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence
\- Monitor and report occupational health and safety indicators
\- Consolidate inspection, training, observation, incident, control compliance, and indicator data, preparing reports for the OSH Manager or responsible authority
Salary: Starting from S/.2,000\.00 per month
