




Job Summary: This role involves organizing, scheduling, and conducting laboratory tests; reviewing and reporting chemical results; and proposing new methodologies for SGS, the world leader in inspection and certification services. In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Organize and schedule service requests, analysis priorities, and workload distribution. * Perform sample testing according to defined procedures and protocols. * Review, validate, and report interim and final chemical test results to the direct supervisor. * Prepare productivity reports and service reports provided to internal customers as applicable. * Coordinate purchase requests and replenishment orders based on departmental needs, in coordination with the direct supervisor. * Propose and/or implement new laboratory methodologies based on standards or technical information reviews, coordinated with the direct supervisor and/or relevant department. * Guide or mentor personnel on applied testing methods. * Participate in quality and safety activities as required. * Other similar duties as assigned by the Employer or hierarchical superior based on operational needs and requirements. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Proficiency in Analytical Techniques: Inorganic, Metallurgical, Environmental. * Proficiency in operating AAS, Leco, and/or similar equipment. * Knowledge of volumetric and instrumental techniques for mineral samples. * Good Laboratory Practices preferred. * Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 standards. * 02 years of experience in an analyst position or performing similar activities, or 03 years. * Work location: Callao, with rotating shifts. **Additional Information** * Full payroll registration from day one. * Statutory Life Insurance. * Ongoing training opportunities. * Corporate partnership agreements
