We are seeking a Chemical Analyst for SGS, the world's leading inspection, verification, analysis, and certification company, to conduct tests, review results, and propose new methodologies.

**Job Description**
* Organize and schedule service requests, analysis priorities, and workload distribution.
* Conduct sample testing in accordance with defined procedures and protocols.
* Review, validate, and report interim and final chemical test results to the immediate supervisor.
* Prepare productivity reports and service reports for internal customers as applicable.
* Coordinate requisition and replenishment of orders based on departmental needs, in coordination with the immediate supervisor.
* Propose and/or implement new laboratory methodologies based on standards review or technical information, in coordination with the immediate supervisor and/or relevant department.
* Guide or mentor staff on applied testing methods.
* Participate in quality and safety activities as required.
* Perform other similar duties as assigned by the employer or higher-level supervisor, based on organizational needs and requirements.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree or graduate in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
* Proficiency in analytical techniques: Inorganic, Metallurgical, Environmental.
* Experience operating AAS, Leco, and/or similar equipment.
* Knowledge of volumetric and instrumental techniques for mineral samples.
* Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) preferred.
* Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 standards.
* Intermediate or advanced office software skills.
* Basic English proficiency.
* Two years of experience as a Senior Analyst or performing similar duties for three years.
* Work location: Callao.
