In Peru, we operate across most economic sectors—including mining, agriculture, and fisheries—forming part of the value chain for their products and services. **Job Description** * Coordinate and execute flotation tests, reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor. * Verify calibration status and operational functionality of equipment. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the laboratory and comply with laboratory safety standards. * Schedule work according to project priorities. * Prepare reagents and standards for assays. * Conduct metallurgical flotation tests in accordance with established procedures and instructions. * Perform necessary quality controls during assay execution. * Report required data and information for result evaluation in the designated records for each process. * Participate in the development of techniques or methods of analysis to be used for new determinations. * Identify non-conformities or opportunities for improvement and propose corrective actions specific to the execution of one’s activities. **Requirements** **EDUCATION** Metallurgical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, or related degree **SPECIALIZATION / CERTIFICATIONS** Metallurgy **EXPERIENCE** More than 2 years’ experience in laboratory flotation testing (Pb, Cu, Zn, Mo, etc.) at rougher, kinetic, TCA, and TCC stages. **KNOWLEDGE** General knowledge of mineral processing. Office software: Windows environment, Excel Languages: English Metallurgical testing techniques Good laboratory practices, ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025\.
