Position Summary: Supervises and validates customs declarations, tariff classification, and electronically transmits them, providing technical support and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customs declaration review and validation 2. Technical support and resolution of inquiries 3. Supervision of customs brokers' work Review documentation provided by the Customer Service department to validate the proper preparation of customs declarations according to the requested regime. Verify that customs declarations (DAM) have been prepared and settled in accordance with supporting documents and current regulations. Validate the correct tariff classification of goods. Verify import or export restrictions on goods in accordance with customs legislation. Authorize and perform electronic transmission of compliant customs declarations (DAM). Provide technical support and resolve inquiries from customs brokers and internal departments. Maintain the ASCINSA system updated regarding incidents related to reviewed shipments. Supervise the work of assigned customs brokers. Meet departmental KPIs, internal policies, and procedures. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements Title or certification as Customs Clearance Assistant or Authorized Customs Representative (desirable). Minimum 3 years of experience as a Customs Reviewer or in equivalent roles. **Experience in:** Customs declaration (DAM) review and validation. Tariff classification. Electronic transmission of DAM. Technical supervision of customs brokers. Handling of technical customs inquiries. Verification of restricted goods. Knowledge of the General Customs Law and related procedures.
