We are seeking a Technician or graduate in Occupational Safety and Health with experience in supervising safety policies, procedures, standards, and risk management.

**We require a technician or graduate in Occupational Safety and Health or related fields for low/medium-risk assignments. Minimum 6 months of relevant experience required. Work will be conducted both on-site and in the office.**

**SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS**
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, objectives, and the Safety, Hygiene, and Environment Plan across project operations.
* Conduct ATS (Safety Toolbox Talks) and 5-minute safety talks.
* Prepare and submit weekly training reports to the client.
* Supervise and ensure workers use appropriate PPE for each task and monitor compliance with Safe Work Practices (SWPs).
* Safe Work Procedures and work standards.
* Supervise daily work practices of personnel, evaluating compliance with the Safety, Health, and Environment Plan requirements.
* Develop IPERC (Identification, Prevention, Evaluation, and Control of Risks) and IAAS Matrix.

**WORKING HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:30 AM \- 6:15 PM AND SATURDAYS 8:45 AM TO 1:00 PM**
* **Risk Assessment:** Identify and assess potential workplace hazards, including physical, ergonomic, and chemical risks. Use tools such as risk analysis and safety assessments to determine the severity of each risk.
* **Emergency Planning:** Develop emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and actions for fires, chemical spills, or other hazardous situations.
* **Accident Investigation:** Conduct thorough investigations following workplace accidents or incidents. This includes gathering information, interviewing witnesses, and identifying root causes.
* **Policies and Procedures:** Develop and maintain occupational safety and health policies and procedures. Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to these policies.
* **Equipment and Tool Evaluation:** Inspect and assess the safety of equipment and tools used in the workplace. Ensure they are in good condition and comply with safety standards.
* **Documentation and Recordkeeping:** Maintain accurate records and documentation of all occupational safety and health-related matters, including incident reports, training records, and inspection results.
* **Communication and Awareness:** Regularly communicate safety and health information to employees and promote awareness through posters, meetings, and training sessions.
