Opportunity to contribute to documentation and modeling of industrial equipment Vacancy: Mechanical Drafter / Industrial CAD Modeler We are seeking a Mechanical Drafter / Industrial CAD Modeler to support the surveying, modeling, and technical documentation of industrial machinery and equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for transforming field information — such as photographs, sketches, partial measurements, and technical observations — into reliable 2D and 3D models, mechanical drawings, and organized documentation that facilitate engineering analysis, maintenance, spare parts identification, and future improvements. Main Responsibilities \* Perform 2D and 3D modeling of machinery, subassemblies, and mechanical components. \* Prepare mechanical drawings. \* Interpret photographs, sketches, measurements, and field references to reconstruct equipment. \* Identify standard components, fabricated parts, and structural elements. \* Organize technical files, nomenclatures, and version control. \* Coordinate with relevant departments to validate models and assumptions. \* Document technical questions, missing dimensions, and criteria used during field surveying. \* Support preparation of technical documentation for maintenance, manufacturing, or equipment improvement. Requirements \* Technical or university education in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields. \* Prior experience in mechanical technical drafting and CAD modeling. \* Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar. \* Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation. \* Knowledge of machine elements, metal structures, and basic mechanical systems. \* Strong technical judgment to work with incomplete information without fabricating data. \* Organization, responsibility, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: \* Field surveying experience. \* Experience in bill-of-materials, exploded views, and manufacturing documentation. \* Familiarity with 3D scanning, photogrammetry, or digital capture tools. \* Availability for on-site technical visits if required. \* Key Competencies \* Technical rigor. \* Observational ability. \* Document organization. \* Clear communication with technical teams. \* Results orientation. \* Collaborative work. \* Judgment to validate assumptions and request additional measurements when necessary.
