Together, we lead the way toward more sustainable mining and construction. **Join our team!** If you are interested in developing **within the technical field of mining operations**, join our team as a **Field Engineer.** **Your mission** You will be responsible for providing technical advisory services on products and drilling steel to customers, always ensuring compliance with industry quality standards and aligned with Epiroc's processes. **Your work location:** The position will cover operations in Arequipa and surrounding areas. **What will be my responsibilities?*** Monitor the performance of drilling steel products in the field. * Control KPIs related to drilling steel performance. * Conduct air and pull down measurement tests. * Evaluate reasons for product rejection and provide input for improving drill bit designs. * Perform performance testing of drilling rod components. * Issue clear and timely (instructional) reports on obtained results. * Prepare technical reports to determine the root causes of premature drilling steel rejection. **Our ideal candidate** Requirements: * Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related fields * General knowledge of Surface Mining * Knowledge of Drilling Steel Products * Experience in surface mining drilling operations * Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office * Basic knowledge of PowerBi * Valid driver's license A1 or A2B * Intermediate English for reading manuals * At least 1 year of experience in similar roles **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition, and our cities and infrastructure must develop to serve a growing population.
