Internal Job Description Required. **Job Objective:** Perform machine tool operation activities, ensuring that these are carried out in accordance with drawings, technical documents, standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements; following the guidelines of the Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management System. **Key Responsibilities:** **Operate machine tools such as:** vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, boring mills, milling machines, drilling machines, and others—according to operating instructions, regulations, procedures, specifications, and manufacturer recommendations. Interpret drawings and technical documentation using material standards, specifications, and tolerance requirements. Use required measuring instruments, properly calibrated and certified, to ensure strict compliance with requirements specified in drawings and technical documents. Comply with specifications provided in drawings and documentation, adhering to quality standards. Propose best practices to keep work procedures up-to-date and support continuous improvement efforts. Maintain team equipment in optimal operating and safety conditions. Immediately report any deviations from established procedures. Perform other duties assigned by management. **To succeed, you must meet the following requirements:** Technical education in Industrial Mechanics and/or related fields. Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience performing similar functions in machining large-scale components. Experience operating vertical lathes, boring mills, and horizontal lathes. Desirable knowledge of mining machinery, metrology, fits and tolerances, and drawing interpretation. Knowledge of bearing and bushing assembly. Desirable experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Basic technical English. What You’ll Do Execute the production plan according to the Planning Department’s schedule. Read and understand assembly drawings (pumps, spare parts, etc.). Record daily labor hours in SAP based on daily progress. Ensure quality control and promptly report any findings to your supervisor. Suggest process improvements for assembly to your supervisor. Use hand tools in accordance with company procedures and internal regulations.
