Your journey toward impact and innovation begins here at WSP! **Key Responsibilities:** * Execute Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) on assigned electrical fronts, including substations, electrical rooms, distribution systems, cable laying, and electrical systems associated with pipeline routes. * Verify that electrical activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, single-line diagrams, control schematics, Technical Specifications (EETT), approved procedures, and current contractual documents. * Verify proper preparation of areas for installation of electrical equipment (foundations, supports, panels, switchgear, transformers, and associated systems). * Supervise the installation, assembly, and connection of transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, panels, MCCs, grounding systems, cable trays, conduits, power and control cabling. * Verify correct installation of electrical systems associated with pipeline routes, including equipment power supply, instrumentation, motorized valves, electric tracing, and auxiliary systems. * Supervise and validate execution of electrical tests and field tests (insulation, continuity, grounding, functional tests, loop tests, primary/secondary injection, energization). * Verify compliance with inspection and testing frequencies established in the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP/PPI). * Participate in critical tests for release of electrical systems. * Verify that test results comply with acceptance criteria specified in Technical Specifications and applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, or others). * Develop, review, and validate inspection and test protocols for electrical activities. * Record technical and photographic evidence of executed work. * Verify that the Contractor’s Quality Control (CQC) procedures align with the project’s Technical Specifications. * Issue Surveillance Alert Reports (SVR) when deviations are detected prior to execution. * Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for non-compliance with specifications, installation, testing, or documentation. * Conduct technical and documentary follow-up of SVRs and NCRs until closure. * Verify correct implementation of the Contractor’s action plans for NCR closure. * Coordinate with the Contractor’s CQC, commissioning, and testing teams for release of electrical systems. * Verify that only current and approved versions of drawings and technical documents are used. * Review and verify appropriate use of Red Line drawings and updating of As-Built documentation. * Register protocols, reports, tests, SVRs, and NCRs in the project platform (e.g., SPF), ensuring full document traceability. * Maintain traceability of quality assurance for assigned electrical systems. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality assurance reports for the electrical front. * Participate in technical and contractual meetings related to quality, electrical construction, and commissioning. * Support management of RFIs and IDTs in coordination with Engineering and the Client. * Verify compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (SSOMA) requirements, particularly for high-risk electrical work, LOTO, and energized testing. * Ensure activities comply with critical controls defined in IPERC and PETS. * Provide technical input for progressive quality dossier, pre-commissioning, and commissioning documentation. * Provide necessary information for project closeout and final TOP report preparation. * Comply with internal policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety in all performed activities, among others. **Professional Background:** * Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related disciplines. * Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar CQA roles supervising and/or constructing mining projects (concrete, soils and/or earthworks, mechanical works, electrical works, electromechanical works). * Preferred: Diploma and/or specialization and/or courses in quality management and/or construction project management and/or related topics. * Preferred: Knowledge of quality and soil mechanics standards and ASTM and/or NTP standards related to tests conducted on the Project. * Availability to work under project-based employment regime in Huaraz. \#Perú \#LI\-GL1 \#LI\-Onsite **Primary Location** PE\-LIM\-Lima**Schedule** Full\-time**Employee Status** Temporary**Experience (Minimum Yrs.)** 6**Job Posting** Aug 7, 2026, 1:33:39 AM
