Position Summary: We are seeking a tower technician to perform installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, radio links, and communication systems for energy, mining, and industrial projects. Participation in high-impact telecommunications projects A specialized telecommunications engineering company is looking for a **tower technician** for energy, mining, and industrial sector projects. Personnel will be responsible for performing installation, preventive and corrective maintenance activities on telecommunications infrastructure, radio links, and communication systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and client-established procedures. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of telecommunications systems, including radio links, repeaters, and communication equipment installed at stations. * Carry out cleaning and conservation tasks for shelters, solar panels, metallic structures, and telecommunications equipment, ensuring their proper operation. * Conduct power measurements (TX/RX) on VHF, UHF, and HF equipment, as well as VSWR measurements, verifying optimal performance of communication systems. * Inspect and maintain coaxial cabling, connectors, duplexers, antennas, feeders, terminal blocks, and other components of the telecommunications infrastructure. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of towers, poles, shelters, grounding pits, and PTZ cameras installed at stations. * Conduct equipment inventory, removal of decommissioned equipment and connections, and update corresponding technical documentation. * Perform communication, coverage, and functionality tests on telecommunications systems, ensuring compliance with project technical specifications. * Perform work at height for installation, maintenance, and inspection of telecommunications infrastructure, strictly adhering to established safety procedures. * Timely report executed activities, identified incidents, and maintenance results to the Field Supervisor. * Maintain continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor, SSOMA Supervisor, and Construction Supervisor to ensure correct execution of project activities. **Requirements** * Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Networking, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience, supported by employment certificates, in installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems. * Certified experience performing work at height on telecommunications towers (over 60 meters). * Experience in telecommunications projects executed in the mining sector (desirable). * Knowledge of radio frequency systems (VHF, UHF, HF), radio links, fiber optics, and telecommunications networks. * Familiarity with telecommunications measurement instruments (OTDR, wattmeter, spectrum analyzer, GPS, and measurement equipment). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Willingness to travel. **Competencies** * Teamwork. * Responsibility. * Commitment. * Proactivity. * Results orientation. * Adaptability. * Effective communication. * Compliance with safety regulations. **Benefits** * Participation in a high-impact telecommunications project. * Per diem allowances covered according to the project. * Timely payments. * Professional development opportunities. * Excellent working environment.
