UTEC is seeking a Coordinator of Undergraduate and Graduate Program Design to lead the design, development, evaluation, and updating of innovative academic programs.

**What will be your challenges?**
1\. Design of new undergraduate program offerings
Identify opportunities for launching new master’s programs, doctoral programs, specializations, concentrations, or delivery modalities.
Define the target audience, the problem addressed, the value proposition, the entry profile, and the exit profile.
Design the academic architecture of the program: competencies, academic tracks, courses, credits, sequencing, and integrative learning experiences.
Coordinate with the academic team to develop curricular maps, course syllabi, learning outcomes, and other required academic documents.
Design differentiated offerings tailored to specific segments: professionals in development, leaders, senior management, and researchers.
Incorporate certifications, applied projects, international experiences, research, and industry engagement where appropriate.
2\. Research and conceptualization of the product
Analyze market trends, emerging occupations, business needs, and the evolution of disciplines in science, engineering, and technology.
Conduct benchmarking against national and international universities.
Collect input from strategic industry partners, companies, alumni, applicants, faculty, program directors, and advisory councils.
Translate identified needs into product concepts and concrete academic proposals.
Formulate the value proposition and key differentiators of the program.
3\. Feasibility assessment
Collaborate with expertise, commercial, finance, and operations units to assess demand, pricing, market size, delivery modality, launch frequency, and break-even point.
Identify required academic resources: faculty, program directors, coordinators, laboratories, platforms, and partnerships.
Evaluate academic and operational risks prior to launch.
Prepare the business case and recommendation regarding product launch, modification, or discontinuation.
4\. Program development and academic approval
Manage the product development process from initial idea through institutional approval.
Coordinate with academic directors, disciplinary specialists, and faculty on detailed program design.
Ensure compliance with university regulations and requirements set by SUNEDU and other applicable entities (e.g., accreditation).
Prepare or consolidate files for program creation, modification, and updating.
Track observations and agreements issued by academic governance bodies.
5\. Portfolio updating
Periodically review the validity and competitiveness of existing programs.
Propose updates to curricular maps, courses, content, delivery modalities, and formative experiences.
Analyze enrollment, conversion, retention, satisfaction, employability, and academic performance indicators.
Recommend continuation, redesign, repositioning, or discontinuation of offerings.
Maintain a roadmap for new offerings and curriculum updates.
6\. Launch preparation
Translate academic design into clear information for academic administration, student experience, commercial, marketing, admissions, and operations teams.
Develop master product sheets including target audience, benefits, competencies, curriculum structure, differentiators, and professional outcomes.
Train commercial teams on the program’s value proposition and academic scope.
Ensure that the product communicated and marketed matches the academically approved offering.
Support early cohorts to identify necessary adjustments.
**What are we looking for?**
* Professional degree in engineering, sciences, technology, education, management, or related fields.
* Master’s degree in higher education, innovation, management, business, technology, or similar (mandatory)
* Minimum three years of experience in curriculum design, educational product development, academic innovation, or graduate program management.
* Experience in creating or updating master’s programs, doctoral programs, or complex academic offerings.
* Experience collaborating with faculty, disciplinary experts, and business leaders.
* Familiarity with competency-based curriculum design methodologies and learning outcome frameworks.
* Knowledge of the higher education market and trends in professional training.
* Proficiency in market analysis, benchmarking, and business case development.
* Understanding of university regulations and academic approval processes.
* Advanced English proficiency (mandatory)
