What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a **Senior Fullstack Developer** to join a growing engineering team. You’ll play a key role in building **scalable products** and delivering features with real business impact. It’s not just about coding: we expect strong **technical judgment**, a focus on **quality**, and the ability to **bridge product and execution**. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain applications using **Next.js (frontend)** and **Node.js (backend)**. * Build and evolve **APIs** (REST and/or GraphQL) and backend services (e.g., **NestJS/Express**). * Integrate complex systems: payments, e-commerce, logistics, third-party services (webhooks, external APIs). * Participate in designing **AI** or automation solutions (where applicable): AI-powered features, internal tooling, pipelines. Quality & Engineering Excellence * Champion quality: robust **testing** (unit/integration/e2e) and a **TDD** mindset. * Conduct rigorous code reviews: focusing on maintainability, performance, and security. * Document thoroughly: API specs, ADRs, diagrams/technical decisions. * Diagnose and resolve production incidents; optimize performance and reliability. Collaboration * Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into clear deliverables. * Participate in planning, technical refinement, and architecture reviews. * Proactive communication (async-first): progress updates, risks, blockers, proposals. Experience * **5+ years** of software development experience (Senior to Lead level). * Hands-on experience with **Next.js** (SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching, performance, SEO). * Solid experience with **Node.js** (TypeScript preferred), designing APIs and backend services. * Strong **system design** judgment: scalability patterns, caching, queues, idempotency, rate limiting. Primary Tech Stack **Frontend** * Next.js, React, TypeScript **Backend** * Node.js (NestJS / Express / Fastify), TypeScript **Database** * PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, ORMs such as Prisma/TypeORM/Sequelize) **Cloud & Infrastructure** * AWS (EC2, ECS/Fargate or Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.) **Testing** * Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress (as appropriate) Product & Business Mindset * Curiosity about end users and the impact of technical decisions. * Ability to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks. * Pragmatism: balancing speed and quality without accumulating “silent debt”.
