Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Universal/Structural Blacksmith/Welder with experience to fabricate, repair, and maintain metal parts and structures, coordinating tasks and applying welding techniques. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manufactures and repairs metal parts and structures. 2. Maintains and repairs blacksmithing equipment, including welding. 3. Participates in the installation of metal structures. GENERAL FUNCTIONS: 1\. Estimates time and materials required to complete work. 2\. Requests work materials according to the task to be performed. 3\. Fabricates and repairs metal parts, metal structures, etc. 4\. Cuts and trims, shapes, bends, heats, and drills metal sheets and/or pipes. 5\. Designs and constructs iron components for industrial machinery assembly\- 6\. Operates electric machines while performing tasks. 7\. Performs repair and maintenance on equipment and tools used in the blacksmithing workshop. 8\. Receives and distributes daily work orders and requests. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: 1\. Participates in the installation of metal structures. 2\. Performs preventive maintenance on furniture, ducts, and metal parts by applying welding, anti-corrosion treatments, or any other required treatment. 3\. Coordinates task execution with the supervisor. 4\. Checks the proper operation of equipment and tools. 5\. Provides technical instructions to colleagues according to the type of work to be performed prior to execution. 6\. Completes tasks within the scheduled deadlines. 7\. Maintains order and cleanliness in the workplace. 8\. Complies with the organization’s comprehensive safety rules and procedures. 9\. Performs any other related duties assigned. Desired Education and Training: Universal Welder. Structural Welder. 6G Certification. Skills: Establishing interpersonal relationships. Understanding and following verbal and/or written instructions. Estimating work time and materials. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years.
