PAINTER / MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile painter with experience in surface preparation and paint application, capable of performing general maintenance and basic repairs in facilities. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential painting 2. Basic knowledge of infrastructure maintenance 3. Ability to identify and perform repairs Requirements: * Preferred 1–2 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or residential painting and general maintenance. * Experience in surface preparation, and application of enamel, latex, anti-corrosive coatings, and finishes. * Technical knowledge of paint preparation and application. * Safe use of ladders, scaffolding, and basic power tools. * Basic concepts of infrastructure maintenance. * Basic knowledge of electricity. * Basic masonry skills (patching, plastering, wall and floor repair). * Basic plumbing knowledge (repairing minor leaks, replacing faucets and sanitary fixtures). * Safe handling of hand and power tools. * Ability to identify and carry out preventive and corrective repairs in facilities. * Basic ability to read work orders and technical data sheets (preferred). Responsibilities: * Prepare surfaces: cleaning, sanding, patching, sealing, and protecting areas. * Apply paint on walls, metal structures, signage, equipment, and other elements according to technical specifications. * Perform touch-ups, repainting, and maintenance of interior and exterior finishes. * Carry out basic maintenance tasks: replacing light fixtures, adjusting hardware, minor patching, technical cleaning, and supporting minor repairs. * Inspect facility conditions and report deterioration, leaks, corrosion, cracks, or other anomalies. * Properly use assigned hand and power tools. * Follow safety procedures: use of PPE, signage, handling of paints and solvents. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and basic control of materials and tools. * Record completed work and material consumption when required by the department.
