Job Summary:
We are seeking a Safety Engineer with HSE experience to supervise high-risk activities, inspections, and incident follow-up in construction and industrial maintenance.

**Job Requirements**
* **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; licensed and registered with the professional association (mandatory requirement).
* **General Work Experience:** Minimum of 7 years.
* **Specific Work Experience:**
+ Minimum 5 years in HSE roles related to construction, installation, industrial maintenance, or project execution.
+ Experience supervising contractors, simultaneous works, and high-risk activities.
+ Demonstrable knowledge and experience in HSE inspections, observation tracking, incident investigation, and action closure.
+ Preferred (not mandatory): Experience in operating industrial plants and/or *brownfield* projects.
* **Experience Calculation:** Counted from the date of professional registration (valid registration and license required).
* **Work Schedule:** On-site, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (48 weekly hours, including 1 daily non-compensable break).
* **Work Location:** Cercado de Lima (two adjacent sites, walkable between both; no vehicle operation required).
**Main Responsibilities**
* Verify that contractors possess required HSE documentation for scheduled activities (ATS, IPERC, work permits, safety procedures, and documentation for critical activities).
* Validate certifications, PPE, collective protections, signage, and applicable preventive controls.
* Conduct periodic inspections and site walkthroughs at work fronts (order, cleanliness, segregation, signage, and HSE controls).
* Provide on-site supervision for high-risk work: working at height, lifting operations, hot work, excavations, and hazardous energy control, among others.
* Identify risks arising from simultaneous activities and interfaces with routine plant operations.
* Maintain an updated record of observations, non-conformities, responsible parties, closure dates, and HSE performance trends.
* Immediately report incidents, near misses, or significant risk conditions, and participate in their analysis and investigation.
* Review the schedule and *Look Ahead* to anticipate permits, certifications, segregations, and special controls.
* Coordinate operationally with the Service Coordinator and maintain direct communication with the HSE Department and HEINZ\-GLAS Perú Project Manager when criticality demands.
