Collaborate with specialized technical staff under quality standards. **General Description** Technical assistant responsible for supporting activities related to the calibration, verification, and adjustment of measurement equipment and instruments. Their role is to ensure compliance with established procedures, properly document results, and contribute to maintaining the laboratory’s metrological traceability. They work closely with specialized technical staff, adhering to quality standards and requirements such as ISO/IEC 17025. **Requirements** * Engineer or Technician in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of quality standards applicable to laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025). * Prior experience in calibration or metrology laboratories is desirable. * Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) and quality management systems. **Main Responsibilities** * Record OTICs for Calibration and/or Maintenance services in the laboratory’s activity schedule. * Record the assigned metrologist for executing the calibration item. * Send calibration certificates to customers. * Send instrument intake/withdrawal records to customers. * Prepare equipment and instruments for calibration processes. * Support calibration execution according to internal procedures and technical standards. * Manage inventory of reference standards, materials, and consumables. * Verify compliance with environmental conditions required for calibrations. * Collaborate in preparing calibration certificates and reports. * Strictly comply with quality, safety, and good laboratory practice standards. * Record and verify the intake and withdrawal of standards, auxiliary equipment, and tools.
