Junior Lawyer - Mining Sector

Job Summary: We are seeking a Lawyer to supervise case files, provide strategic legal advice, develop legal reports, and administer complex contracts in the mining sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic legal advice to operational units 2. Development of legal reports and internal regulations 3. Design and administration of civil, commercial, and mining contracts At MINEROS DEL NORTE, a Peruvian mining company, we seek top talent to take on the challenge of a Lawyer role with experience in the mining sector. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervise, analyze, and execute comprehensive tracking of legal case files assigned to the department. * Provide strategic legal advice to various operational units, ensuring strict compliance with current legislation. * Develop legal reports, specialized legal opinions, and internal regulations to support decision-making. * Design, audit, and administer high-complexity civil, commercial, and mining contracts. * Draft notarial letters, strategic agreements, board meeting minutes, addenda, and other corporate legal instruments. REQUIREMENTS: * Licensed Attorney (Mandatory) * Minimum 1 year of experience performing similar functions in mining-sector companies (Mandatory) * Knowledge of Mining Law, Property Civil Law, and Environmental Law (Preferred). * Familiarity with administrative procedures and filings before Peruvian state entities. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
