Job Summary:
Coordinate and comprehensively execute logistics, customs, and phytosanitary procedures for fresh mango exports, ensuring regulatory compliance and traceability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehensive coordination of logistics and customs for exports.
2. Management of commercial and shipping documentation.
3. Monitoring and traceability of international cargo.
**Mission:**
Comprehensively coordinate and execute logistics, customs, and phytosanitary procedures related to fresh mango exports (by sea and air), ensuring strict regulatory compliance (SENASA, SUNAT\-Customs), preservation of the cold chain, shipment traceability, and timely delivery of documentation to international clients.
**Responsibilities:**
· **Booking Management:** Coordinate and confirm air and sea freight bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and freight forwarders, aligned with the plant’s harvest and packing schedule.
· **Documentation Preparation and Control:** Prepare, review, and issue commercial and shipping documents in a timely manner: Export Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Air Waybills (AWB) matrices, Bills of Lading (B/L), Certificates of Origin, and insurance documents.
· **Logistics and Customs Coordination:** Coordinate with customs brokers, temporary storage facilities, and local transporters for cargo pickup, secure storage, temperature monitoring, and safe cargo entry into terminals prior to customs closing.
· **Monitoring and Traceability (Tracking):** Continuously track international cargo in transit, supervise temperature reports, and proactively update the commercial department and destination clients on shipment status.
· **Export Files and Drawback Procedures:** Consolidate and archive physical and digital shipping files—including all supporting documentation—for internal audits, tax inspections (SUNAT), and tariff refund procedures (Drawback / Exporter’s Favorable Balance).
· **Settlement and Reconciliation of Operations:** Validate pre-invoices for freight, customs brokerage, and associated logistics services per shipment, ensuring alignment with agreed rates.
· Other duties inherent to the assigned area, as directed by the Export Department Head.
**Requirements**
**Academic Qualification:**
University graduate or bachelor’s/technical degree holder in **International Business, International Trade, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields**
**Experience**
Minimum **one (1) year** of experience in similar roles (Export Assistant or Professional Intern) within agro-export companies, freight forwarding agencies, or customs brokerage firms.
**Technical Knowledge**
Proficiency in **Incoterms 2020** and export customs legislation.
Familiarity with the **VUCE** portal and procedures before **SENASA** (phytosanitary certifications).
Preparation and interpretation of documents: Export Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, DUA/DAM.
Intermediate **English** level (comprehension and drafting of commercial emails, coordination with agents/airlines).
Intermediate **Excel** skills (pivot tables, control and tracking matrices for shipments).
