The Senior profile does not merely record and analyze but also supervises the accounting close, guarantees strict tax compliance with SUNAT, leads audits, and translates financial statements into key management reports supporting decision-making by Finance Management and Executive Leadership. **1\. Core Responsibilities** **Accounting Management and Closing** * **Lead monthly and annual closing processes:** Ensure adherence to the closing schedule, overseeing accruals, provisions, foreign exchange differences, and depreciation. * **Preparation of Financial Statements:** Structure the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity under applicable accounting standards (IFRS). * **Critical account analysis:** Review and validate complex account analyses (fixed assets, project costs, inventories, intercompany accounts). **Tax Compliance and Reporting** * **Calculation of complex taxes:** Determine and review the monthly calculation of taxes (IGV, Income Tax, ITAN) and submission of sworn declarations (PDT 621, PLAME, Annual Tax Return). * **Control and audit of collection systems:** Supervise proper treatment and consistency of deductions, withholdings, and collections to optimize cash flow. * **Audit support:** Serve as the primary point of contact during external audits and SUNAT inspections, preparing required supporting documentation and electronic accounting books (PLE). **Management Control and Reporting** * **Reports for Management:** Prepare financial management reports explaining monthly variances (Expense vs. Budget Analysis, cost margins per project or business unit). * **Supervision of operational transactions:** Validate that purchase, sales, petty cash, and expense reimbursement records processed by junior staff comply with local regulations. **2\. Profile Requirements** **Education and Experience** * **Education:** Degree-holding and licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPC) in Accounting (mandatory for signing financial statements or official filings). * **Experience:** Minimum **4 to 5 years** of experience in similar roles (Senior Analyst, Coordinator, or Accounting Supervisor), preferably with exposure to multiple business units or sectors subject to specific regulations (Real Estate, Commercial, or Services). * **Specialization:** Postgraduate degree or diplomas in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or Advanced Tax Legislation (desirable). **Technical Knowledge** * **Accounting Systems:** Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in **SISCONT**, **CONCAR**, or similar systems. * **Office Tools:** Advanced Excel (pivot tables, logical formulas, basic macros) for automating reconciliations and reports. * **Tax Platforms:** Full mastery of SUNAT portals and tools (SOL, PLE, SIRE, electronic invoices). **3\.
