Procurement Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking an analytical and strategic professional to optimize the supply chain, analyze consumption data, negotiate with suppliers, and generate budgetary efficiencies. Key Highlights: 1. Strategic supply chain optimization. 2. Commercial negotiation with suppliers and cost analysis. 3. End-to-end import management and customs clearance. We are looking for a professional who is analytical and strategically minded to optimize our supply chain. Your primary objective will be to analyze consumption data, negotiate better commercial terms with suppliers, and generate budgetary efficiencies that positively impact the business. Key Responsibilities: Local Procurement Management: Receive internal requisitions, request quotations, issue purchase orders, and record documentation in the system. Import Coordination: Manage the end-to-end import process, directly coordinating with customs agents, logistics operators, and international freight companies. International Negotiation: Contact foreign suppliers to negotiate pricing, manufacturing lead times, and define international trade terms. Costing and Financial Analysis: Develop the import costing matrix (tariffs, freight, insurance, customs duties) to determine the actual landed cost of products in our warehouse. Customs Clearance: Review and validate essential shipping documents required for customs clearance (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificates of Origin). Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor the status of in-transit shipments, resolve customs-related issues, and coordinate with the warehouse for physical receipt of containers or packages. What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related fields. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in similar procurement analysis and negotiation roles. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong negotiation skills, data analysis capability, and problem-solving ability.
