Job Summary: We are seeking Safety Engineers to ensure regulatory compliance, implementation of management systems, and safety in mining operations. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in accident and incident investigations SHOUKAN Mining and Geological Exploration, a company dedicated to geological and mineral deposit exploration, is seeking 03 Safety Engineers with the following qualifications: · Requirements: - Licensed and registered professional engineer. - Mining Engineer or Geology Engineer. - Specialization or studies in: Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment. - Knowledge of accident reporting. - Minimum 5 years of experience in this position. - Basic proficiency in Office applications. - Experience in implementing management systems and programs. - Possession of an A2 driver's license and experience driving 4x4 pickup trucks. - Availability to work under an atypical work schedule (14 days on / 7 days off). · Responsibilities: 1. Conduct and participate in all scheduled safety meetings with all personnel. 2. Ensure compliance with current legal provisions as well as the Internal Safety Regulations. 3. Ensure implementation of the Annual Occupational Safety and Health Plan in the Mining Area. 4. Responsible for safety in the mining area's production processes, as well as compliance with Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM and its amendments: Supreme Decree No. 023-2017-EM and Supreme Decree No. 034-2023-EM regarding safety, and recommendations issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Committee. 5. Responsible for achieving quantifiable targets, activity sequencing, number of workplace monitoring visits per administrative economic unit, and execution timelines. 6. Responsible for implementing the Training Plan related to worker safety at SHK. 7. Ensure that work activities are carried out according to established standards and strictly in accordance with PETS (Procedures, Equipment, Tools, and Standards). 8. Responsible for suspending operations in the Mining Area when imminent danger and/or substandard conditions are identified; subject to verification or notification by staff and authorization from superiors. 9. Participate in accident or incident investigations and generation of corresponding reports. 10. Implement corrective actions to address findings and non-conformities identified during audits. 11. Evaluate the effectiveness of personal protective equipment (PPE) procured by the company, then submit a report to management. 12. Respond immediately to any hazards reported at the workplace. 13. Provide first aid and facilitate evacuation of injured or endangered workers. 14. Ensure continuous presence of a safety inspector during high-risk mining operations. 15.
