IQF Production Engineer

Position Summary: We are seeking an IQF Production Engineer to supervise freezing lines, optimize processes, ensure food quality and safety, and manage production teams. Key Highlights: 1. Lead IQF production, ensuring volume targets and quality standards. 2. Optimize freezing processes to improve efficiency and reduce yield loss. 3. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and international certifications. The ideal IQF Production Engineer must possess knowledge of agro-industrial and fishery processing, quality and food safety control, management systems such as HACCP and GMP, personnel management, production software, and experience supervising IQF freezing lines to ensure competitiveness and market access, as indicated by the collected information. **Main Responsibilities** * Plan, organize, and supervise the IQF production schedule, ensuring adherence to volume, timeline, and quality standards. * Optimize freezing processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce yield loss, and improve resource utilization. * Supervise and coordinate the production team (supervisors and operators), ensuring discipline, order, and productivity. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and international export certifications (e.g., ISO, BRC, Global GAP, among others). * Monitor and analyze management indicators (efficiency, productivity, waste, OEE) and propose continuous improvements. * Coordinate with maintenance and refrigeration teams to ensure operational readiness of IQF tunnels, cold rooms, and auxiliary equipment. * Develop and implement innovation, automation, and process improvement projects. * Prepare production management reports and present them to management. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Agro-Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of **3 years of experience in industrial production supervision or leadership roles** (preferably in the frozen agro-industry IQF sector). * Knowledge of: * IQF processes and freezing technology. * GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and export certifications. * Production performance indicator (KPI) management. * Team leadership. * Advanced Excel and ERP systems (preferred). * Availability to work rotating shifts.
