





**Area:** Commercial Intelligence **Modality:** 100% In-person (Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) **Location:** SJL, Lima, Peru **Contract Type:** Full-time About the Role At Mintronick, we are seeking a **Commercial Development Engineer** to lead **market research, opportunity generation, and strategic support to the commercial area**. This role is not focused on traditional direct sales, but rather on **opportunity creation and maturation**, market analysis, and **identification of public and private funding** for engineering and innovation projects. You will work cross-functionally with both commercial and technical teams, ensuring a healthy pipeline and well-qualified opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Research markets, industrial sectors, and target customers (mining, OEM, industrial, agro-industrial, fishing). * Identify and generate qualified B2B leads, registering and managing them in the CRM. * Qualify commercial opportunities (MQL → SQL) prior to handover to the commercial team. * Develop customer profiles, decision-maker maps, and needs analyses. * Conduct competitive intelligence: benchmarking, reference pricing analysis, and value proposition development. * Support the commercial team in: * Preparing presentations, technical-commercial proposals, and tenders. * Ensuring continuity of opportunities when a sales representative is absent or an account is reassigned. * Monitoring and managing funding opportunities (e.g., CONCYTEC, ProInnóvate, PNIPA, or other funds). * Coordinating with engineering and finance teams to prepare technical documentation and budgets for funding applications and contests. * Analyzing commercial results (win/loss) and proposing improvements to the sales process. * Maintaining up-to-date and organized information in commercial tracking tools. Requirements * University degree in Marketing or **Engineering** (Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics, Systems, Mechanical, or related fields). * Minimum of **1 year** of experience in commercial development, commercial intelligence, market research, or similar B2B roles. * Knowledge of consultative sales processes and engineering projects. * Desirable experience in: * CRM systems (HubSpot or similar). * Competitive funding programs, innovation, or funded projects (not mandatory). * Proficiency in Excel and executive-level presentations. * Analytical ability, technical-commercial writing, and information structuring skills. * Intermediate English level (technical reading and writing preferred).
