Job Summary:
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant for CERTIMET to support the implementation and improvement of the Integrated Management System, as well as calibration and metrology processes.

CERTIMET, a specialist calibration company, is seeking a **LABORATORY ASSISTANT** in San Luis.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
* With or without experience in industrial calibration or instrumentation laboratories.
* University or technical students in their final semesters, or graduates in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or related fields.
* Basic knowledge of quality standards applicable to laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025\).
* Prior experience in calibration or metrology laboratories is desirable.
* Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) and quality management systems.
* Basic knowledge of metrology and measurement principles (desirable).
* Ability to follow procedures and technical instructions.
* Basic proficiency in data logging software and quality management systems.
* Operation and handling of laboratory equipment.
* Availability to work in SAN LUIS (behind Videna) Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays from 8 AM to 11 AM.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
* Adhere to procedures established in the Integrated Management System.
* Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Integrated Management System.
* Assist in identifying deviations from the Management System or from procedures governing laboratory activities.
* Support the implementation of actions to prevent or minimize identified deviations.
* Report to the Technical Manager and Metrologist I on the performance of the management system and any improvement needs.
* Ensure the effectiveness of laboratory activities.
* Record OTICs for calibration and/or maintenance services in the laboratory’s activity schedule.
* Send customers their calibration certificates.
* Send customers the records of instrument receipts/shipments.
* Prepare equipment and instruments for calibration processes.
* Support the execution of calibrations according to internal procedures and technical standards.
* Manage inventory of reference standards, materials, and consumables.
* Verify compliance with environmental conditions required for calibrations.
* Collaborate in the preparation of calibration certificates and reports.
* Record and verify the receipt and dispatch of reference standards, auxiliary equipment, tools, and other assigned duties.
Salary: S/.1,400\.00 \- S/.1,700\.00 per month
