Job Summary: Supervise and ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental actions to reduce risks and accidents, ensuring operational continuity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA). 2. Prevent risks and accidents through the development of action plans. 3. Advise on and train personnel in safety and environmental regulations. **Job Objective:** Supervise compliance with planned safety, occupational health, and environmental actions to reduce accidents impacting people, equipment, and/or operational continuity. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Develop action plans to control identified safety and environmental risks. * Participate in developing baseline IPERC, IAEI Matrix, and monitor required updates. * Advise management on generating risk inventories for all processes. * Advise the team on legal matters related to risk prevention. * Conduct SSOMA training, inductions, and scheduled training sessions for workers. * Generate monthly SSOMA management reports, report accident frequency indices, and incident reports. * Conduct safety inspections. * Identify worker exposure agents to hazards. * Report SSOMA Supervision on SSOMA program progress and compliance. * Analyze occurred accidents using tools and methodologies established by the HSEC-PSM system. * Supervise use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment safeguards (technical specifications and quality certifications). * Monitor and supervise compliance with Water Quality Standards, Effluent Discharge Standards, and Receiving Body Standards (ECAS and LP), as per the Environmental Management Plan; as well as compliance with permissible limits for gaseous emissions, and manage collection of hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste (RSP and RSNP). * Ensure compliance with the SSOMA Management System (corporate-integrated HSEC-PSM management system), policies, manuals, and internal safety regulations applicable to both internal and external personnel. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Occupational Hygiene and Safety. * Availability to work in Cusco under a 10x10 work regime. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HSECQ Assistant and/or SSOMA Assistant. * Driver’s license AIIB is desirable. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. * Specialized training or studies in safety and environment, minimum duration of 120 hours. * Knowledge of laws, decrees, and regulations related to safety and environment. * Knowledge of developing safety plans, programs, procedures, and Environmental Management Instruments.
