Continuous evaluation for process improvement **Job Mission:** Manage, plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control activities within the Mining Operations area. **Responsibilities:** * Plan, organize, control, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for mine operations to ensure compliance with the Mining Plan, Production Targets, Budget Execution, Loss Prevention Policies, and Safety and Environmental Protection policies adopted by the company. * Plan and organize short-, medium-, and long-term operational requirements for mining operations, including equipment, human resources, services, and supplies. * Develop the annual Production Program and medium- and long-term plans in coordination with relevant Department Heads and Management, participating in the formulation of the mining unit’s annual objectives. * Participate in formulating the annual operating and investment budget for the area, capital cost estimates, and economic and financial feasibility assessments for process improvements, various projects, and present these to Management for approval. * Direct and control operational costs as well as capital investments in alignment with approved plans. Validate costs and budgets, and monitor budget execution. Propose cost-effective alternatives and contracts to achieve production objectives. * Review weekly progress and production reports prepared by the Maintenance Supervisor and Shift Supervisors of the mining unit; continuously evaluate operations to identify bottlenecks hindering the process and implement necessary corrective and/or preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted mining unit production. * Supervise compliance with duties and plans of the SSOMA (Safety, Security, Occupational Health, and Environment) Officer. * Propose, evaluate, and oversee mining contractors for executing specific projects of the mining unit.
