SSOMA Assistant \- On-site in San Martín de Porres On behalf of our client — a leading industrial-sector company — we are looking for an SSOMA Assistant to join their team in San Martín de Porres. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing key support and ensuring proper management of Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental matters, directly contributing to a safe working environment and compliance with current regulations. Reporting to the SIG Analyst, your primary challenge will be to conduct plant inspections, propose continuous improvements, manage system documentation, and actively respond during ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits\. Responsibilities * Lead daily start-of-shift talks, inductions, and SSOMA training sessions for employees and contractors. * Conduct periodic inspections at the plant and offices to verify compliance with safety controls and propose improvement actions. * Support the updating, control, and dissemination of Integrated Management System documentation (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001\). * Manage and control inventory (stock) and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other departmental materials. * Actively participate in and provide support during internal and external ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits\. * Collaborate in the preparation and updating of IPERC, ATS, PETAR, and other risk management documents. * Ensure implementation of the SSOMA training program. Requirements * Technical or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles as SSOMA Assistant or SSOMA Associate, preferably in the industrial sector. * Solid knowledge of current legal regulations on Occupational Safety and Health (Law No. 29783\) and environmental regulations. * Knowledge and experience in implementing and/or maintaining management systems based on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001\. * Experience preparing IPERC, ATS, PETAR matrices and managing high-risk work (e.g., work at height, hot work). * Demonstrated experience working with operational staff and delivering talks or training sessions. * Availability to work on-site in San Martín de Porres from Monday to Friday (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM) and Saturdays (7:30 AM to 12:00 PM). * Desired: Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (MATPEL), electrical hazard awareness, and first aid.
