JOB PROFILE – SURFACE PREPARATION ASSISTANT Position: Surface Preparation Assistant Department: Production / Industrial Painting Location: Lurín – Lima Work Mode: On-site employment Reference Salary: S/ 1,500\.00 – S/ 1,800\.00 per month Job Objective Support personnel responsible for surface preparation, sandblasting, and industrial painting by performing operational tasks, material handling, cleaning, surface conditioning, and assisting with tool and equipment operation, while complying with work procedures and safety regulations. Requirements Experience or no experience in industrial, metal-mechanical, painting, sandblasting, or similar work. Desirable experience as a production assistant or in industrial workshops. Willingness to learn sandblasting, surface preparation, and industrial painting processes. Ability to perform physical labor and handle materials. Basic knowledge of safety and use of PPE. Responsibility, punctuality, and willingness to work in a team. Availability to work in Lurín. Desirable residence in Lurín, Villa El Salvador, Pachacámac, Villa María del Triunfo, or nearby areas. Main Responsibilities Assist in metallic surface preparation and conditioning. Perform cleaning of metal parts and structures. Support sandblasting operators and painting personnel during operations. Transport materials, tools, equipment, and parts within the work area. Prepare materials and implements required for sandblasting and painting activities. Assist in assembly, disassembly, and conditioning of the work area. Maintain cleanliness and order in the production area. Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of assigned tools and equipment. Follow instructions from the supervisor or department head. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly. Comply with company-established procedures and safety regulations.
