Warehouse Assistant

Description

Job Summary: Support the management of materials and finished products, including receiving, storage, inventory, and dispatch, using material handling equipment and following established protocols. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of materials and finished products in the warehouse. 2. Operation of equipment such as hydraulic forklifts and freight elevators. 3. Inventory control, FIFO, and area documentation. · Review material requisitions or finished product dispatch orders. · Verify and deliver the requested quantity of material or finished product. · Assist in receiving materials delivered by suppliers, verifying specifications against the purchase order. · Store materials or finished products in designated areas. · Conduct and verify physical inventories, warehouse cleaning, and material/product organization. · Dispatch materials or finished products upon coordination with the warehouse supervisor. · Operate hydraulic forklifts, freight elevators, reach trucks, cargo carts, and bicycles, subject to prior authorization and training. · Perform stacking, unstacking, packing, unpacking, arranging, classification, physical counting, protection, and internal/external distribution of materials, supplies, and finished products within warehouses. · Execute, verify, and validate picking, delivery notes, vouchers, and invoices, preparing orders according to requests from internal or external customers. · Maintain FIFO control, considering material or finished product batches and expiration dates. · Complete all forms used by the department. · Take all necessary precautions to ensure personal and colleagues’ safety, complying with labor laws and company-mandated industrial safety regulations. · Safeguard the company’s fixed assets. · Other departmental requirements.
