Mission: Contribute to the overall success of FP\&A and Finance in Peru by ensuring that individual-specific objectives, plans, and initiatives are executed or fulfilled in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives; ensure all activities comply with current internal standards, policies, and procedures; and participate in projects that generate data products to facilitate strategic decision-making at Scotiabank Perú, as well as provide necessary information to various Bank departments and BNS International Banking. What challenges will you face? * Analyze, design, implement, and monitor data pipelines and data products, ensuring integration and scalability of the comprehensive data ecosystem—following established procedures, standards, and best practices—and updating and producing all required documentation for proper governance and control. * Design and implement structured or unstructured data architecture and data models, ensuring integration and scalability of the comprehensive data ecosystem—following established procedures and standards—and updating and generating technical and functional data dictionaries for proper governance and control. * Design and execute unit and integration tests for all developed products to ensure efficiency and quality levels—validating results and creating stress scenarios for processes. * Continuously seek optimization and identify opportunities for improvement, impacts, deviations, and risks across all activities to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery—thoroughly identifying situations and tracking and monitoring implemented solutions. * Resolve incidents or issues arising in any data solution, always minimizing impact—analyze and fully understand root causes and side effects, and ensure recurrence prevention. * Train various bank stakeholders on different data products and the data ecosystem to ensure access and usage. * Understand the Bank’s risk culture and how risk appetite must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Actively perform effective and efficient operations within respective areas while ensuring the suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls—fulfilling obligations aimed at reducing operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk—including responsibilities defined under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, International Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Manual, and Business Conduct Guidelines. What do we expect from you? * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. * More than 3 years of experience as an Information Management Analyst / MIS Analyst / Data Analyst / Commercial Intelligence Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Exploitation Analyst or related role. * Over 3 years of experience managing data projects and implementing ETL processes. * Experience in banking and finance (desirable). * Proficiency with database tools. * Intermediate-level English proficiency.
