Coordinate and implement communication activities to strengthen the organization’s public image and strategic relationships at the National Office in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:
**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:**
Coordinate and implement the National Office in Mexico’s communication activities in alignment with the Branding Policy, Safeguarding Policy, and Institutional Ethics Policy, to ensure appropriate dissemination of institutional messages, strengthening of the public image, and strategic engagement with media, partners, allies, and other key stakeholders. This includes planning, implementing, monitoring, and ensuring communication activities.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Public Relations and Events**
Execute planned events and brand ambassador initiatives, and follow up on project or partnership activities for organizational positioning and fundraising (corporate or stakeholder-related).
**Media Relations**
Monitor the organization’s presence and media coverage.
**Institutional Communication**
Develop, update, and monitor institutional information to ensure consistent, coherent, and sustained organizational positioning across communication channels.
**Implementation of Spokesperson and SME Strategy**
Adapt spokesperson and SME participation and management according to the proposed media platform.
**Reputational Crisis Management and Emergency Response**
Monitor reputational crisis cases and operational responses in accordance with the organization’s global protocols and standards.

Demonstrate commitment to and alignment with the organization’s philosophy; uphold child protection principles per the Child Protection Policy; handle position- and organization-related information confidentially; and participate in personal and collective safety measures as required.
**PROFILE:**
**Experience:**
Minimum 3 years in similar roles within non-governmental organizations.
Minimum 1–2 years managing communications agencies and media relations.
Proven experience in media management, institutional writing, and coordination of campaigns or events.
Familiarity with media engagement practices specific to the third sector.
Knowledge of corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs enabling relationship-building with companies for future collaboration.
Experience organizing public relations events—including conferences, annual report events—any event related to brand positioning.
Development of media narratives.
Knowledge of and/or participation in cause-related events supporting an organization (desirable).
Strategic institutional communication and public relations experience, including implementation of such strategies.
Proven experience in media management, institutional writing, and campaign or event coordination.
Experience engaging with and following up on relationships with key stakeholders, such as brand ambassadors or corporate marketing/CSR directors.
Knowledge of institutional protocol and spokesperson guidelines (desirable).
Knowledge of reputational crisis management protocol (desirable).
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Public Image, or related fields. Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Public Image.
**Technical Skills:**
Microsoft Office Suite
Basic design platforms (Canva, Adobe Illustrator)
Knowledge of CSR-focused media or official information sources for emergency response.
Media narratives.
KPI and KRI management.
Familiarity with platforms that enhance public relations.
**WE OFFER:**
**Gross Monthly Salary: $21,377 \+ PSL ($2,518 monthly food vouchers \+ $700 monthly transportation or connectivity allowance \+ Life Insurance \+ SGMM \+ 30-day year-end bonus, etc.).**
