Civil Engineer - Quality

Job Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer with quality control experience, responsible for ensuring procedures and standards on site from planning through final delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and management of the Construction Quality Plan. 2. Comprehensive supervision of material and construction process quality. 3. Defect detection and correction for continuous improvement. * CIVIL ENGINEER WITH MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATION (mandatory) * Experience in quality control * Completion of PETS, RFI, RELEASE forms, etc. * Valuations * Quantity take-offs * Personnel control; availability to work overtime * **Develop the Quality Plan:** Design the document governing all procedures, standards, and protocols to be followed on site. * **Drawing and file control:** Ensure all personnel use the latest approved versions of drawings and technical specifications. * **Quality dossier management:** Collect and organize technical documentation, material certificates, and test records for final project handover. * **Visual and documentary inspection:** Verify that materials (steel, cement, bricks, pipes) arrive in optimal condition and with their respective quality certificates prior to use. * **Storage supervision:** Ensure on-site storage conditions prevent deterioration of materials. * **In-situ testing:** Coordinate or conduct on-site tests (e.g., soil density tests, concrete temperature and slump control). * **Inspection protocols:** Conduct periodic field inspections to verify reinforcement, concrete pouring, and finishing processes comply with applicable standards. * **Defect detection:** Identify poorly executed work or defective materials (known as Non-Conformities). * **Corrective actions:** Require and supervise the construction team’s implementation of necessary corrections to rectify errors. * **Quality reports:** Prepare periodic reports on identified defects to prevent recurrence and ensure continuous improvement.
