**The Opportunity**
Lead Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management in Peru, ensuring compliance with applicable Peruvian legislation, Grid Automation corporate standards, and customer requirements, while providing comprehensive project support from the planning phase through commissioning. Based on Law No. 29783 and its Regulation, Supreme Decree No. 005\-2012\-TR.
**How You Will Make an Impact**
* Maintain Grid Automation’s HSE Management System for Peru and support corporate legal requirements.
* Ensure legal and corporate compliance across offices, the testing workshop, and projects.
* Develop and update IPERCs, legal matrices, training programs, and HSE plans.
* Participate in risk reviews during tenders and project execution.
* Supervise contractors and field personnel during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation and substation systems.
* Lead incident investigations, inspections, and audits.
* Manage HSE metrics and reporting for the regional organization.
* Coordinate trainings and activities to strengthen a preventive culture.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
**Your Profile**
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields.
* Specialization or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
* Desired training in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001\.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical projects, substations, automation, energy, or industrial settings.
* Experience managing contractors and field activities.
* Practical knowledge of audits, incident investigation, and risk management.
* Knowledge of Law No. 29783 and Regulation Supreme Decree No. 005\-2012\-TR.
* Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001\.
* Familiarity with IPERC, work permits, incident investigation, and emergency plans.
* Experience in contractor management.
* Experience in electrical safety, hazardous energy control (LOTO), working at heights, and commissioning activities.
* Intermediate English proficiency.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Power BI (desirable).
