Position Summary:
Perform topographic work for the assembly and installation of stationary plants, ensuring location, leveling, alignment, and dimensional control of structures and equipment.

Position Objective
Perform required topographic work for the assembly and installation of stationary plants, ensuring correct location, leveling, alignment, and dimensional control of structures, equipment, and civil works in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.
Requirements
* Technician or Professional in Surveying, Geomatics, or related fields.
* Experience in topographic surveys for mining, industrial, or electromechanical assembly projects.
* Proficiency in total stations, automatic levels, laser levels, differential GPS, and other surveying equipment.
* Knowledge of interpreting topographic, civil, and mechanical drawings.
* Knowledge of axis stakeout, leveling, and dimensional control.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and surveying software (Topcon, Leica, Trimble, or similar).
* Knowledge of As-Built drawing preparation.
* Familiarity with safety procedures, PETS, IPERC, and SSOMA standards.
* Availability to work under a 20x10 schedule.
Main Responsibilities
* Conduct topographic surveys of the work area.
* Perform stakeout of axes, coordinates, and elevations for stationary plant assembly.
* Verify location, leveling, and alignment of mechanical equipment and steel structures.
* Execute dimensional controls during assembly stages.
* Support positioning of equipment and structures per drawings.
* Prepare topographic reports and progress reports.
* Process field-collected data using specialized software.
* Prepare topographic drawings and As-Built drawings.
* Verify project-established elevations, coordinates, and tolerances.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Assembly departments to ensure proper execution of work.
* Maintain assigned surveying equipment calibrated and in optimal condition.
* Comply with company-established safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
