We invite you to join our team as the new **Transmission and Maintenance Technician (1-year Temporary Position)** and be part of a greener future. **Job Description** -------------------------- Participate in the execution of transmission line maintenance activities, ensuring the operational availability and reliability of assets through the application of safe practices, compliance with established technical procedures, and the organization's quality and safety standards. * Perform maintenance activities on transmission lines and electromechanical systems of hydroelectric power plants, ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency standards. * Carry out operational maneuvers—including startup, shutdown, connection, disconnection, and regulation of assets—in coordination with the Control Center. * Conduct field inspections and patrols to identify abnormal conditions that may affect service continuity and reliability. * Provide support during regulatory inspections, official visits, and those conducted by other stakeholders, facilitating access to facilities and providing requested information. * Support OSINERGMIN audits, ensuring compliance with established requirements. * Analyze operational and maintenance variables to assess the technical condition of assets and support decision-making. * Record and manage failures, findings, and abnormal conditions in SAP PM, performing follow-up and corrective actions. * Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), contributing field-based technical information for solution identification. * Develop work procedures, IPERCs, and rescue plans, promoting preventive risk management. * Verify the availability of tools, materials, and spare parts required for maintenance activities. * Fulfill assigned roles within permit and work order management processes. * Keep technical documentation, drawings, and schematics of assets updated according to field conditions. * Support contractor supervision, verifying compliance with technical guidelines, procedures, and safety standards. * Activate and execute emergency and operational contingency response plans when required. **Requirements** -------------- **Education Level:** Technician trained at a Higher Technological Institute **Specialization:** * Mechanical-Electrical Technician * Industrial Electrician Technician **Additional Knowledge:** * Solid knowledge of transmission lines. * Experience working at heights. * Familiarity with electrical substation equipment. * Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology. * Knowledge of international technical standards applicable to power plant equipment (IEC, ANSI, ASME). * Knowledge of modern maintenance techniques: RCM, MBC, MBB, and MBR. * Training in occupational safety and health, occupational hygiene, and environmental protection. * Knowledge of COES, OSINERGMIN, and ANA regulations applicable to hydroelectric plants and power transmission systems. * Knowledge of current environmental legislation. * Defensive driving skills and a valid driver's license with a minimum of 4 years of validity. **Experience:** * 5 years of experience in similar positions within the electric power sector. **Additional Information** ------------------------- * Profit-sharing. * Health insurance. * Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off. * Must reside in Lima. * 1-year temporary contract.
